December 10, 2013—GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing are very proud to announce that this year’s charitable contributions totaled over $37,000! The donations were made to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
This is the second year that GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing have partnered with both of these impressive and very worthy organizations. For every case of sweet corn that was sold to participating retailers in August, GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing made a donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which totaled over $18,500. “What GloriAnn Farms has done is a great thing,” states Arnold Fisher, Chairman of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. “It has given many people an opportunity to give back. You will never be a success until you learn to give back. What we do for these soldiers is not charity, it is our responsibility.”
The same was true for the Corn for the Cause campaign, which benefited the National Breast Cancer Foundation during the month of October. Through the sales of sweet corn to participating retailers, over $18,500 was donated to the NBCF. “NBCF values GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing’s partnership in sharing our mission of helping women now by providing free mammograms, education, support, and early detection services,” states Byron Vardilos, Vice President of Development Operations at the National Breast Cancer Foundation. “This is the second year we have partnered with the Corn for the Cause promotion and appreciate their continued support.”
GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing strongly believe in giving back to the community and being able to make these donations to such worthy organizations is truly an honor. “We are proud to have the partnership with both Intrepid Fallen Heroes and the NBCF,” states Mark Bacchetti, President of GloriAnn Farms. “We hope these partnerships will flourish for years to come!”
